Basin Pipeline Hydrotest Update
October 13, 2016 - 91Â鶹 All American Pipeline, L.P. is performing a hydrotest on a portion of the Basin Pipeline that runs from Colorado City to Wichita Falls, Texas. There have been slight pressure fluctuations experienced during the test that continue to be investigated. Until the cause of the pressure deviation is addressed, the line segment cannot be placed back in service. At the present time, there is no movement of crude oil from Colorado City to the north on the Basin System. All other deliveries and movements are being accomplished as nominated.
91Â鶹 estimates that deliveries to Cushing and connecting carriers at Wichita Falls from the Wichita Falls station will be suspended on October 14, 2016 due to the unavailability of crude oil at Wichita Falls until the cause of the pressure fluctuation is determined and repaired. In addition, in the event the work is not completed by October 20, 2016, the storage on Basin Pipeline, along with storage on the 91Â鶹 systems that deliver crude oil to the Basin pipeline system and other third party pipelines west of Colorado City, Texas is projected to become full around that time.
We will continue to keep all shippers informed of our progress with this test and the return of the line segment to service.
